It has been a rough couple of weeks, even months, over at Niantic, with many, many mistakes that had a negative outcome.
While we didn’t want some changes to happen in Pokemon Go, abusing fellow Niantic workers is not okay. Recently, Michael Steranka, the Pokemon Go game director has shared with the public that he has been dealing with abuse towards him and his family. Eurogamer has reported that Niantic’s employees have all been under “attack”, and not just any attack. Many have gone to the extent that they have personally abused several workers.
Here is the abuse targeted at Michael Steranka:
I know that many of you are frustrated with some of our recent decisions, but just know that we see the feedback and are thinking of ways to address many of the valid concerns without sacrificing on our mission and vision for Pokémon GO.

Please, stop the abuse. We do not condone this type of behavior directed toward Niantic workers, so we urge you to think twice before clicking on the “send” button.
