But smartphones are nowdays more about the masses, companies don’t care about people having PWM issues or UD ones.

this looks really quite fake. here’s why I believe that
-wheres the camera flash?
-distabce between the top bezel and camera, and side bezel and camera are not equal like Samsung usually does
-corners on the display are wayyy sharper than Samsung likes to make the corners on their flip series.
it will probably look something like this, but this mockup is quite clearly not official

PowerUP, 3 hours agoOr they could put a UD scanner on the cover display because that would be more natural of a po… moreI actually wish more companies went back to physical scanners, or give proper face unlock like iPhone and some Honor phones.
Me and a lot of people have issues with UD scanners, because they are (due to logical reasons) less precise and for some people that ends up in unlock fails, no matter how often you rescan the fingers and even without any screen protection.
Never had such issues with physical scanners, same with people I know that have same issues as I with under display ones.

are they gonna implement under display fp sensor for this mo… moreCapacitive scanners are gold standard, fast and reliable. Considering the fragile nature of folding screens they should stay away from optical scanners. Implementing it on cover screen is just waste of space I guess.
